This last year, I decided to bring a little extra Christmas magic to the kids, and I got some help from Gemini to pull it off.

A few days before Christmas Eve, I started laying the groundwork. I told the kids I planned to set up a camera this year, “just to see” if we might catch Santa in the act. Of course, I reassured them that only adults are allowed to do something like that, so their Christmas magic stayed perfectly intact.

Once the kids were sound asleep on Christmas Eve, I took a photo of our living room, making sure the Christmas tree was in full view. Then I uploaded the picture to Gemini and asked it to insert a classic, traditional-looking Santa Claus kneeling down on one knee on the right side of the tree with a bag full of presents at his side.

Gemini delivered, big time. The result looked realistic, warm, and festive, like Santa had actually been caught mid-delivery. The kids were amazed the next morning, and it added a fun, memorable twist to our holiday traditions.

It’s incredible how a bit of creativity (and a sprinkle of AI) can make the season even more magical.
